my camera and i miss my computer so much. i just looked through the week’s photos on my camera for the millionth time and each time i fall more in love, and seeing my nerdy friends makes me happy. each time i turn on my camera, i pray the photos aren’t erased like what happened with the freak formatting of my sister’s graduation photos.

also at marla’s party, we met these two incredibly awesome, incredibly young people who make music under the name Sippy Cups. Esper is a really neat song and probably the best. Juice Geiser is probably what it sounds like to fall into a bottomless pit while 8-bit music is being sprayed at you from the edges. they are neat people.

in the middle of the week, dan and i went to marla’s house in royal oak michigan for her birthday/housewarming party. we met a lot of her friends who are a lot cooler than us, lol. they’re so american. anyway, her boyfriend and this other guy dj and make music. i really like it. click the link and check it out. it is good. i sound so nerdy.

so i just realized that the newspaper magazine found on a detroit city bus is still on my bed. disgusting. i stole it because it has a picture of one of the guys we met at marla’s party and i think that is pretty cool. her boyfriend’s shirt is also in the picture, but they cropped him out. it’s an advertisement for a thing they’re dj-ing at in michigan somewhere.

im listening to what sarah said by death cab. im thinking about school and when i would like to return and what i would like to take. sometimes i just cringe at the thought of being a student again. i’ve never been a consistently “good” student because i get so absorbed with my own personal writing, art or photography project to care about tests about ancient greece.
